Until then, please use the links below to nominate alumni, faculty and staff, and friends of UAFS who are making a difference in their communities and professions.
Nominations are due by January 6, 2023. These awards will be presented at our alumni brunch on Saturday, February 18th.
Young Alumni Award
The Young Alumni Award is awarded to two alumni younger than 40 who are strong leaders within their career fields and have distinguished themselves through service to the university, community, state, or nation.
Spirit of Numa Award
This distinguished service award is bestowed by the Alumni Advisory Council to friends and other supporters in the community who champion the mission of UAFS through outstanding volunteer and/or philanthropic service. This award is given as recognition of a generous commitment to the UAFS community and its students. Just like all students feel a strong connection to our beloved mascot, Numa, award recipients are honored for their strong connection to UAFS. Non-alumni, businesses, and groups are eligible to be nominated for this award.
Outstanding Faculty/Staff Award
This award is presented to a current or former University of Arkansas – Fort Smith faculty or staff member who consistently and profoundly went above and beyond to set their students up for success – as students, young professionals, and as people.
Distinguished Alumni Award
In 1928, the first graduating class of Fort Smith Junior College coined the phrase — “Through diligence to victory.” Inspired by their motto, this award is the highest alumni honor bestowed by the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. Recipients are alumni who exemplify this sentiment – having historically distinguished themselves through outstanding leadership in their professional lives, or through service to the university, community, state, or nation.
I don't see any of the Homecoming competition events on the registration. What do I do?
If you're a current student looking for one of the Registered Student Organization competitions, please check NumaLink for more info and registration.
In the past, I know that the alumni dinner was a little dressier. Given the event changes, what should I wear to this years' events?
I need to add/remove a guest from my registration. How do I do that?
When is the homecoming registration deadline?
