From brainstorming to final edits, the Writing Center supports writers at all levels
and can help you strengthen communication skills that matter in the Air and Space

Our Military and Veterans Services office works closely with the GEM team to provide
coordinated guidance on your education benefits, degree planning, and next steps.
Tuition Assistance and Education Benefits
Receive support as you navigate Tuition Assistance in AFVEC, VA education benefits,
or other military-related funding. Staff can help you understand timelines, documentation,
and required approvals.
Deployment and Activation Support
If you experience a deployment, activation, or a change in your duty schedule, UAFS
will work with you to explore your options and support your progress. Communication
is key, and our team is committed to helping you stay on track.
Military Transcript Evaluation
UAFS can review your military transcript to help you understand how your experience
and training may apply toward future academic goals, including bachelor degree pathways.
Priority Registration
Eligible veterans may receive priority registration, which helps you plan your courses
around duty schedules, transitions, or civilian commitments.
A Community Rooted in Service
Fort Smith is home to a strong military community, including the 188th Wing at Ebbing
Air National Guard Base. You will find a campus that values your service and welcomes
