Workday Student Information System
Welcome to Workday
We're excited to introduce Workday, UAFS's go-to student information system. Whether it's registering classes, planning your schedule, reviewing financial aid awards, or updating personal information, Workday brings everything together in one spot.
*** Please note: Blackboard and Navigate are not going away. These platforms will continue to be used.
How to Log In
Logging in to Workday is quick and easy. You will be prompted to use Multifactor Authentication (MFA), just like other UAFS systems.
Follow these steps to log in and get started:
- Log in to your apps dashboard with your UAFS credentials.
- Select Workday Production.
- Access your Workday dashboard to explore available features.
Need help?
If you have trouble logging in, contact the IT Service Desk at 479-788-7460. Support is available from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Workday Mobile App
You can access your student information anytime, anywhere using your phone or mobile
device. The Workday mobile app offers the same features available on the desktop version,
allowing you to view your class schedule, search course sections, check your grades,
and update your personal contact information. Review the linked guides on how to install the app and view the features available.
Onboarding Explained
Onboarding is a required Workday process that helps you prepare for advising and registration each term. It’s a quick checklist of necessary tasks that will appear in your Workday “My Tasks” section. These tasks may include confirming your contact information, authorizing financial aid, and completing critical academic acknowledgments.
Be sure to complete onboarding as soon as possible to move forward with course registration and avoid delays.
To begin the onboarding process:
- Log in to Workday.
- Click on the "My Tasks" icon located in the top right corner of the page.
- Review the information and complete the required actions.
- Click Submit.
- Repeat steps two and three for all assigned onboarding materials.
Schedule an Academic Advising Appointment
Scheduling an appointment with your assigned advisor is required for all students. Establishing a relationship with your advisor ensures that you are meeting your specific degree requirements and accomplishing your personal academic goals. Students will use Navigate to schedule appointments with their academic advisor.
Get Ready to Register in Workday
You need to review the following items before registering for courses in Workday. All the items you need to review are conveniently in one place: your Academics Hub! View the Preparing for Registration Quick Reference Guide.
- Complete your student onboarding. Onboarding is a series of tasks, including things like updating your contact information and financial aid authorization, that will get you ready for registration. Please don't wait on this. You cannot register until your onboarding is complete.
- Look up when your registration window opens. In Workday this is called "Find Registration Appointment." Go to the menu at the top left of your Workday homepage and select "Academics Hub." The "Find Registration Appointment" link will be listed in the right column of the page.
- Review and resolve any registration holds. Holds can prevent you from registering. To check if you have any holds, navigate to your profile and then select "Action Items and Holds" from the left-side menu. Alternatively, you can search for "View My Active Holds" in the search bar. You will find information on how to address each hold listed on the hold, but if you have any questions, your advisor can assist you.
- Meet with your advisor. You can view your advisor(s) in the Academics Hub. Students will use Navigate to schedule time with their academic advisors.
Once all of these steps are complete, you are ready to register!
View Course Schedules
Login to Workday to view the course schedule and register for classes. If you do not have a Workday account please use the Public View Course Schedule. (Note: The Public View does not provide a real-time look at available courses. The schedule will also be removed from public view 60 days after the term begins. For the most up-to-date information, login to Workday or contact an Academic Advisor.)
Course Numbering
UAFS transitioned to the five-digit common course numbering index with the University of Arkansas System. You can
look up your new course number on the UAFS Course Number page.
Register for Classes in Workday
There are three ways you can register for classes. If you have questions or issues during registration, contact your academic advisor.
- Register from a Saved Schedule: If you have created a saved schedule in Workday, review your saved schedule and click

Drop/Withdrawal
Sometimes life takes a turn; plans change, opportunities pop up, or challenges get in the way. If you decide not to attend UAFS, you must officially drop or withdraw from your courses. The process to withdraw or change a class depends on the timeline of your drop. To review the governing policies for drops as well as guidelines on how to official drop/withdraw, visit the registrar's website.
Please note that if you drop a course after the semester has started, you MUST complete the required questionnaire to complete the drop. If you do not complete the drop questionnaire, the process stalls and you will not be dropped.
Financial Aid
In Workday you can view your financial aid package, accept awards, and submit required documents. Check you Workday account for any required action items.
Accepting and Declining Financial Aid Learn how to accept or decline your financial aid awards and print your financial aid award letter. |
Fulfill a Financial Aid Action Item Complete financial aid action items, including uploading required documents. Stay up to date on your requirements to avoid delays in your financial aid process. |
Anticipated financial aid payments will be available in your Student Financials Hub in Workday prior to the start of the term. Disbursements will occur after the 11th class day of the term, with refunds processed shortly thereafter through BankMobile. If you already have a BankMobile account, no further action is needed. New users can create an account by following the guidelines here.
Student Payments and Accounts
Students will be able to view account balances and financial aid, make payments, and manage payment plans in Workday. Payment plans for the semester will open after charges and financial aid are applied to the student's account. The student will receive an email when charges are assessed and students can begin setting up plans. For guidance on setting up a payment plan visit this website.
