Launch your Nursing Career

Are you ready to make a difference in the world? Our Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program is your gateway to a rewarding career in healthcare. In just two years, you can become a Registered Nurse (RN) equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate care and improve lives.

Why Choose ADN at UAFS?

Unlike other associate degree nursing programs, ours has been developed in partnership with healthcare providers.

Tuition reimbursement programs from Mercy and Baptist Hospitals, alongside extensive private scholarships through the UAFS Foundation, should empower nearly all students to enroll with no out-of-pocket tuition cost.

Upon completing the program, you will be well-prepared to take the NCLEX-RN exam, a crucial step for becoming a Registered Nurse. UAFS boasts one of Arkansas’ highest NCLEX-RN pass rates underscoring the program’s effectiveness.

Don’t miss this opportunity to advance your career and make a difference in healthcare. Apply today to secure your spot in our next cohort.

Registration is due July 1. Take the first step towards becoming a Registered Nurse with our ADN program!

Program Highlights

  • Duration: The program spans four semesters, allowing you to graduate in two years.
  • Experienced Faculty and Advanced Facilities: You’ll learn from seasoned professionals in some of the region’s most sophisticated healthcare facilities, which have high-fidelity laboratories that offer a comprehensive experience in safe environments.
  • LPN-ADN Pathway: A dedicated pathway for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with an active, unencumbered LPN license.
  • Hands-On Experience: Extensive clinical experience in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings across the River Valley in a variety of concentration areas.
  • Strong Job Prospects: Nurses are in high demand. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that more than 275,000 additional nurses will be needed from 2020 to 2030 and that employment opportunities for nurses will grow at 9 percent, faster than all other occupations, from 2016 through 2026.
