CBPD Excel Training Sessions


Excel Level I

Description: This course helps all novice computer users get up to speed with Excel quickly. We will cover different features, including creating a new spreadsheet, working with basic formulas and functions, making a spreadsheet look professional and presentable, and saving and printing a spreadsheet. Topics include basic worksheet functionality, working with data (formulas and functions), managing large workbooks, modifying a worksheet, printing workbook contents, and customizing the Excel environment.

Time: 8:00 a.m. - Noon
Dates: Tuesdays, January 7th & 14th 
Location: UAFS at the Bakery District, 7 S. 70th St., Fort Smith
Registration Fee: $159

Excel Level II

Description: This course is intended to help all users become familiar with the more advance selection of features in Excel. We will cover how to create and use advanced formulas, analyze data, organize worksheet data with tables, visualize data with charts, work with graphical objects, and enhance workbooks.

Topics Include:

  • Creating advanced formulas
  • Analyzing data with functions
  • Analyzing data using PivotTables
  • Working with tables
  • Visualizing data with charts
  • Work with graphical objects
  • Enhancing workbooks

Excel III

Description: This course is intended to:

  • Review of Formulas and Functions
  • Workbook and Worksheet Protection
  • Auditing and error checking
  • Data Analysis and Presentation-Quick Analysis Took, Sparklines, What if analysis tools
  • Working with Multiple Worksheets (arranging, viewing and navigating multiple workbooks.
  • Data consolidation, creating and maintaining links
  • Exporting and Sourcing Data
  • Worksheet Automation—Macros, workbook properties, and data validation
