Learn the language of business by studying accounting.

Accountants ensure that managers communicate the firm's financial performance to creditors and investors in an accurate and consistent way. UAFS accounting classes include problem-based learning so you can practice the journal entries, tax statement preparation, and financial statement analysis that you will be doing in the real world as a practicing professional. Expert faculty who are current in their field with business experience and updated on CPA licensure requirements teach classes and provide advice on internships and careers.

Become a Certified Public Accountant
Earning your CPA will set you apart from the competition in the fields of finance and accounting. In Arkansas 30 upper-level credits are required to be eligible to take the CPA Exam. You can complete this requirement by choosing concentrations in core accounting and professional accounting as well as earning your Certificate of Proficiency in public accounting standards and practices. Ask your academic advisor for details.

Mix, Match, Learn, and Earn!

It is the flexibility of UAFS's Bachelor of Business Administration program which makes it so popular. You can choose concentrations from any of our business disciplines to create an academic experience tailored to your career goals. Have you always wanted to start your own business? Combine concentrations from management and accounting to gain a deeper understanding of both management and budgeting. Have your eye on a career in finance? Choose concentrations in finance and marketing to hone your fiscal and marketing strategies. With UAFS's B.B.A. program, you can mix and match your way to career success!
